Minister campaigns for Ky. marriage amendment

Bowling Green Daily News: Rev. John Brewer of the Emmanual Seventh Day Baptist Church in Louisville, Ky., drove his converted purple-and-gold school bus to a Kentucky mall Thursday, Sept. 30, to campaign in favor of the Kentucky Marriage Amendment that will be on the ballot Nov. 2. The constitutional amendment would ban gay marriage.

Brewer formed the Alliance for Righteousness as a way to advocate for “righteousness in the public arena.” He said his campaign is part of a strategy to remind those who seem most likely to vote for the Kentucky Marriage Amendment to get to the polls and do so in November.
