UNION, Ky. -- Helpmate Technology Solutions (HTS) announced the release of the company's 2004 version of its Church Helpmate church management software system.
Scheduled to hit the shelves Aug. 15, the upgrade includes a number of enhancements over the previous 2002 version, according to a news release.
"The 2004 version of Church Helpmate was birthed out of feedback and input from our client-base and others who are on the ââ¬Ëfront line' of kingdom work," said Paul Schuster, HTS president.
One of the most unique and compelling enhancements being introduced is data file replication and synchronization, according to the release. Churches using the software can have multiple users on remote, non-networked computers. Users can view, edit and add data from any of the modules and later synchronize different files back into one.
"Imagine the possibilities of allowing people to work on the database from remote locations -- saving time and travel costs," Schuster said. "The benefits of this are tremendous -- especially as more and more churches today are moving away from a traditional centralized main church office."
The new version has the capability to produce personalized bulk e-mails, targeting specific segments of a database, such as choir members, second-time visitors or married couples more than 40 years old.
"With Church Helpmate 2004, our clients can now do more, in less time, and with less effort than ever before," Schuster said.
