MOORESVILLE, N.C. -- If the Apostle Paul were to communicate with his far-flung, First-Century church flock today, he might use SheepMail.com to do it.
According to a release, the company offers a variety of free and low-cost communications services to churches and affiliated organizations, which move messages in a timely fashion to and from anywhere in the world.
Free SheepMail e-mail, economical VoiceBlast broadcast voice messaging and no-cost Christian Service Announcements (CSAs) are among the communications services offered by the company.
"Everyone is extremely busy today. It's very difficult for church leaders to get important information to the right people quickly and clearly," said John White, SheepMail.com founder. "SheepMail.com services help ensure people get this important information."
SheepMail's free e-mail service is used by churches to send out weekly bulletins, devotional materials, prayer requests and missionary communiqués.
VoiceBlast personalized broadcast voice messaging calls all or selected lists of church members and reminds them of meetings or of time changes, or instantly disseminates urgent prayer requests. VoiceBlast also can be used for follow-up calls to visitors, for outreach or for evangelism.
All VoiceBlast calls are toll-free. Messages can be heard live or left on answering machines and voice mailboxes.
Sheepmail also offers a unique Referral Program, from which customers receive recurring, residual income for referring SheepMail to others. Ten percent of all revenues from the use of the company's referral services go back to the referring organization.
"You don't have to be trained or be a techie to use our services," said White. "And you don't have to be at the church or ministry location to access the systems and send messages. All you need is a phone and a personal computer."
