NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Asset Verification Inc. (AVI), which provides insurance-approved inventories and valuations for churches, has opened an office in Nashville, Tenn., to serve the Middle Tennessee area.
AVI's asset inventories help churches, businesses and homeowners prove what they had owned at a time of loss, such as fire or natural disaster, according to a company news release.
The company, based in Batavia, Ill., has a patent-pending inventory process that includes:
- a detailed printout describing the items inventoried in each room;
- a built-in spreadsheet program for the client to enter the value of individual items listed;
- an aggregate valuation of the property's total contents; and,
- detailed digital images on a password-protected CD equipped with a browser system for cross-referencing.
AVI also offers an asset management program with a barcoding system, certified appraisals, line-item valuations and document scanning.
The company has other offices in: Atlanta; Jackson, Miss.; Mobile, Montgomery and Birmingham, Ala.; Dallas/Fort Worth; Tampa Bay and Fort Myers/Naples, Fla.; Edmond, Okla.; and Savannah/Hilton Head. Franchise and site licensing opportunities are available, according to the release.
