SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The Assemblies of God (A/G) National Sunday School Department is accepting nominations for the 2003 National Teacher of the Year Award.
The award honors Sunday school teachers who faithfully contribute to a high standard of excellence in the Bible teaching ministry. More than 118,000 volunteers teach Sunday school in A/G churches each week, according to a news release. The National Sunday School Department, Radiant Life Resources and the Gospel Publishing House sponsor the award.
State teacher-of-the-year awards will be announced in the spring. The national award will be presented in August at the 50th General Council in Washington.
