How-to kits will help churches preserve history

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. -- The Baptist History and Heritage Society is releasing a new resource kit Dec. 1 to help churches research and preserve their histories.

"A How-to Kit for Your Church's History" includes a 120-page manual on several topics, including developing a church-history committee, according to a news release. The manual also addresses how to celebrate important anniversaries and research, write and publish a church's history.

The kit, which costs $27.95, can be ordered online.
