PHOENIX -- Hundreds of deaf pastors, lay leaders and interpreters will gather June 17-21 in Phoenix for the Assemblies of God's 25th National Deaf Convention, according to an A/G news release.

The convention, with the theme "Deaf He loves…His love we share," will include a business meeting and workshops for A/G members in deaf ministry. All activities will be in American Sign Language, with voice interpreting for non-signers.

The group, which will meet at the American Indian College, will honor deaf missionaries during the convention's Wednesday evening service. Special activities will be available for youth throughout the week. Nightly worship services are open to the public.
