SAN DIMAS, Calif. -- ePrayerConnect has launched an online service designed to increase prayer and communication between ministries and their constituents, according to a company news release.
Churches and other Christian organizations, including businesses and schools, can use ePrayerConnect to send daily or weekly e-mails with pre-written devotionals. The service also can be used to raise funds online, promote volunteerism and advocacy and drive traffic to the ministries' Web sites, according to the release.
Those receiving e-mail through the service can create individual prayer teams. The service costs $95 a month for the first 1,000 names. A 30-day free trial is available online for a limited time.
The Christian Educator's Association International and Rescue Mission Alliance of Southern California were among the organizations that beta tested ePrayerConnect. The company is based in San Dimas, Calif.
