The Lilly Endowment Inc. is now accepting applications for its 2002 National Clergy Renewal Program. The program is intended to strengthen Christian congregations by providing pastors an opportunity to step away briefly from the church's daily demands and seek renewal and reflection.
The Endowment will provide as many as 100 grants up to $30,000 each directly to congregations to support a pastor renewal program. Applications must be postmarked by July 19. Award announcements will be made in December.
