Shelby Systems has added to its growing family of online tools with e-Survey, a Web-based tool to match volunteer skills with needs, according to a news release.

This module extends the usefulness of the popular Servant module, giving customers even greater support for their volunteer ministry activities. Participants in active congregations quickly indicate their interests and abilities by accessing e-Survey on ShelbyWEBVIEW from any Internet connection.

The Servant module currently helps to support volunteer ministries in more than 800 churches. Its unique matching feature streamlines the process of successful volunteer placements by pairing interests and skills with job opportunities.

Customers suggested that the process could be made even more efficient by taking advantage of the Internet. This new tool meets that suggestion; people enter their personal information via a quick-response survey, and the data is imported directly into Servant.

And by giving participants 24/7 access to an interest survey, leaders quickly take advantage of the enthusiasm of volunteers."
