Pastor heads ecumenical group to help resolve church conflict

The Kentucky Post: The Rev. Timothy F. Hungler has done a lot of listening lately.

Since he took office as executive director of the Northern Kentucky Interfaith Commission in August, he has been asking pastors what needs the ecumenical group can satisfy.

He often hears them say that they need continuing education, especially on dealing with conflict within congregations.

Trained in conflict resolution, Hungler gets assigned to churches in transition between pastors and helps their congregations "sort out that process," he said.
