The Daily Press: A Victorville, Calif., church donated 81 turkey dinners, clothing and winter jackets to families in need at a local low-income apartment complex. The generosity of the congregation overwhelmed apartment manager, Dianne DeCorse, who had been soliciting area restaurants and had received no response until a restaurant employee saw the fax and took the project to her church for help.
