BETHANY, Okla.  David Brooks, author and New York Times columnist, will speak Thurs., Nov. 18, from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Royce Brown Business Building on the campus of Southern Nazarene University, according to NCN News.
Brooks is a conservative voice at The New York Times and on "NewsHour with Jim Lehrer," where he is featured on "Shields and Brooks" segments. Brooks recently provided commentary on both the Republican and Democratic national conventions in addition to his post-presidential debate reflections. Nationally recognized for his political analyses and research into the heart of America, Brooks brings a wealth of experience to his timely presentation on present-day politics and foreign affairs.
Brooks' workshop is a part of The Peer Learning Network, a program facilitated by SNU. Peer Learning Network partners, comprised of chief executives of 10 local corporations and their management teams, pool their resources to bring world-class presenters to the leaders of Oklahoma's premiere companies four times a year.
