CTValleyNews.com: At 51, Geordie Campbell has begun a new ministry at First Church of Christ in West Hartford, Conn. Campbell, pastor for 20 years at South Congregational in Granby, Conn., is a third generation minister. His father retired after 40 years in the pastorate; Campbell's grandfather was a Dutch Reformed minister for 45 years.

Campbell said two lessons his father taught him about the pastorate are the importance of both preaching to the people and loving the people.
