Church transforms manufacturing plant into new facility with volunteer labor

LaCrosse Tribune: Although it took an immense amount of work, much of it donated by volunteers, the Rev. Mark Clements' vision to transform a LaCrosse, Wis., steel fabricating plant into a new church facility has become a reality. After 14 months of work on the project, the Living Word Christian Church pastor said the transformation of the building is a metaphor for the life changes Christ can bring.

Living Word averages about 400 people for worship each Sunday. The new building offers about three times as much space as its previous building.
