Christian Examiner: For most of his life, the Rev. Kenneth C. Haugk, Ph.D. has devoted himself to ministering to others. A pastor and clinical worker, Haugk was drawn to hurting people, which led to his founding of Stephen Ministries, a not-for-profit organization that has equipped more than 9,000 congregations to train and organize members to provide emotional and spiritual care to people experiencing grief, divorce, hospitalization, unemployment, terminal illness and other crises.
