Atlanta Journal-Constitution: The Rev. Charles Parrish found himself in a First Amendment conundrum Election Day when two pro-gay activists arrived at Grayson First Baptist Church in Atlanta to hand out leaflets urging voters to reject the constitutional amendment banning gay marriage in Georgia.

The church was a public polling place and both the minister and the activists agreed they were not in violation of a state law prohibiting politicking within 150 feet of a polling place. So Parrish let them stay until he got word from the county election office that he could stop political speech on private property even if it was a polling place.
