The Union Ledger: Political parties are not the defining factor in how evangelical Christians vote, pastors of several evangelical congregations in New Hampshire said. Rather, it's Scripture and their belief that the Bible is authoritative on issues of conduct and faith.

Politicians are taking note of the Evangelical Christian voting bloc, especially in New Hampshire, where Evangelicals have been growing in numbers for the last five to seven years. The impact on this year's election may be minimal, however, considering that more than half of the state's population still claims no religious affiliation.
