COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) has committed $1 million to produce a new curriculum called "We Believe." The move follows last year's suspension of the curriculum "Covenant People," according to the Presbyterian News Service.
Congregational Ministries Publishing (CMP), the church's curriculum-publishing enterprise, will produce the new curriculum by fall 2003. The materials are designed to be used in Sunday school or Bible fellowship classes.
"Presbyterians have told us over and over they want a Presbyterian curriculum," CMP publisher Sandra Sorem said. "There's lots of good curriculum out in the market, but not another one that says what, why and how Presbyterians believe the way they do."
