GRASS VALLEY, Calif. ââ¬â Grass Roots Software will offer SundayPlus 2.4 workshops and demonstrations at the second annual National Outreach Convention (Nov. 3-6 in San Diego) and at The Church Production Magazine T3 seminar series (Nov. 4-6 in Camp Hill, Pa.), according to a press release. Company spokespersons plan to provide practical instruction on how church media directors can use SundayPlus presentation software to create visually rich presentations for their congregations.
SundayPlus was originally developed to coordinate graphics support with live speakers and musicians for the renowned Promise Keepers' events. SundayPlus can provide control for non-linear live presentations, digital images, text, video playback, Flash, sound files and PowerPoint. Pre-loaded with 170 images, 700 hymns, two Bible translations (KJV and ASV) and 24 moving backgrounds, SundayPlus can be used for a wide variety of worship venues, ranging from large churches with full-scale audio and video set-up to small churches working with linear presentation applications, such as PowerPoint.
During the National Outreach Convention, Grass Roots Software will team up with Shepherd Ministries (Booth No. 60), a leading reseller of multimedia systems for churches, to demonstrate the newest version of SundayPlus 2.4. Attendees will have an opportunity to see SundayPlus' new text titling capabilities and built-in photo touch up tool, Photo Ops.
Booth visitors will be invited to test drive SundayPlus 2.4 on Shepherd Ministries' LAM computer workstations; LAM provides powerful, affordable computing solutions for churches and education. Grass Roots will also offer SundayPlus demonstrations at Harbinger Communications (Booth No. 37). Harbinger, a SundayPlus channel partner, develops content and hardware presentation solutions for churches.
Grass Roots Software will also appear at Church Production Magazine's T3 Technical Training Tour, a series of instructional seminars designed for church technical personnel. Grass Roots is an exclusive sponsor during this year's tour, and SundayPlus 2.4 will be the presentation tool used for the T3 Seminar's general sessions. Attendees will receive first hand interactive training at the SundayPlus booth and two demonstration sessions on Friday, Nov. 5, from 3:45 - 4:15 p.m. and 4:15 - 4:45 p.m.
