Neb. Church grows despite transience of military population it serves

Baptist Press: West Bellevue Church in Bellevue, Neb., serves about 850 people Ã¢â‚¬â€ half in the military. Bellevue, an Omaha suburb, is home to Offutt Air Force Base. For West Bellevue Church, that means much of the leadership and many church members who tithe regularly Ã¢â‚¬â€ move away every three years.

Despite what some may view as a setback for ministry, the church continues to grow. Leaders view their work at the church as world outreach as their parishioners are sent to posts all over the globe.
