Chicago Tribune: For the first time Calvary Memorial Church in Chicago, advertised a sermon series through postcards mailed to their Oak Park neighborhood. Along with regular attenders and guests, the sermon addressing gay marriage sparked interest from two groups of protesters.

Several of the more than 1,200 people who attended the evening service Sept. 26, entered the church through a side entrance to avoid taunts from the activists, while others who knew some activists hugged and prayed with them. Another group protested quietly at a morning service, at which the pastor's sermon was entitled, "The Truth About Same-Sex Marriage."
