GRANGER, Ind. ââ¬â WiredChurches.com released its 2004 schedule of workshops designed to give church leaders fresh perspectives and ministry principles to influence today's culture with the message of Christ, according to a news release.
WiredChurches.com workshops are meant to help leaders move beyond just "doing church" by encouraging creativity and innovation.
"Attendees will learn information from these workshops that will facilitate more effective ministry," said founder Tony Morgan, pastor of administrative services at Granger. "But I encourage them to not come alone. I've so often heard people say they wish they had their ministry teams here to cast vision together and go to their home churches with a unified strategy. Information can be alienation if it's not learned in teams."
Among the offerings are:
- Creating a Caring Community ââ¬â Emphasis is given on how to affirm the value of each member and provide a mentality that demonstrates the power of creating a caring community.
- First Impressions Last ââ¬â Tips provided to enhance relationships, understand guest expectations and consider questions about how to communicate initial impressions.
- Getting a Grip on Groups ââ¬â Both traditional and innovative strategies given to encourage people to move from the weekend crowd into authentic relationships with others.
- Maximizing the Arts ââ¬â Techniques taught on how to reach today's culture by crafting God-centered worship, writing passionate music, creating compelling media and training artist teams based on biblical principles.
Granger, with more than 4,500 in weekly attendance, has experienced a 30-percent annual growth rate for the past three years.
