COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. ââ¬â Church Community Builder (CCB) announced a major remodeling of its Web-based church management system and Web site builder that gives users more control over certain features.
According to a news release, the application suite's event and calendar functions were enhanced to include full-recurrence options, equipment and room conflict management, and support for exporting into the Palm operating system or Microsoft Outlook.
Many of the event, transaction and individual reports that were previously available in PDF format can now be exported as a tab-delimited text file for easy import into a spreadsheet so churches can custom-build reports and graphs based on the data.
The company noted improvements to the task system that allow assigning follow up functions to volunteers or staff when a visitor indicates various items of interest when filling out visitor information cards. Administrators can easily add individuals to the task queue so staff can follow up, aiding in the assimilation of new visitors.
A "Web Statistics" link has been added for any user with Web Administrator privileges. This provides built-in overall traffic usage and trends for the Web site, the release noted.
Other new features include the ability to send e-mail in HTML, the ability to test an e-mail by sending it to oneself before a large group, letterhead spacing options to make the mail merge letter fit more non-standard types of letterhead, and other "ease of use" features to the lettering, mail merge and e-mail systems.
